Both the Europe and Global Luka have self-recording - and it’s a great feature. Sometimes, it’s comforting to hear a familiar adult’s voice. Sometimes, there’s a particular way you want a story to be told. The self-recording feature adds a personal touch to the Luka that helps us make the most of it. If you’re living in the EU or UK, the Luka closest to you is likely to be the Europe Luka sold by the German distributor! At first glance, there’s no difference at all… until you look at what they do. On the surface, they look exactly the same, but they’re actually targeted at slightly different people!

It’s that special time of year again where we take the time to remember and appreciate all the wonderful things that fathers are and do! Fathers can come in all shapes and sizes so it’s important that we celebrate each and every one in the way they deserve. To help us with the celebrations, of course, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favourites to get the ball rolling!

It’s time for longer days and brighter skies and hopefully those Spring showers don’t catch you while you’re out! Spring time can be a really exciting for little ones; aside from egg hunts and eating chocolate, there’re a lots of things to do and see when you’re out in the Spring! Gardening, watching flowers bloom, seeing little baby animals… There are simply too many opportunities to explore the world outside, as well as the one in your books!

We shouldn’t be afraid of our differences and recent events only prove that there are still things we can do.

A Look At Love offers books by various authors and illustrators so you won’t get two books too similar and you certainly won’t get bored! This is a really unique set that, rather, than focusing on a single topic or theme, it branches out into just… well, the life of a toddler! Each one presents a new opportunity to learn about and use the Chinese language as well as about everyday life! Things like saying goodnight or giving big hugs or learning to count or learning the sounds of instruments - the range is truly exciting!

I’m sure many will agree with me that mothers have a very special place in all our hearts. It’s all the amazing things that mothers can do and juggle in their lives in order to provide for us and love us so that they may enjoy and discover life alongside us - with all the highs and lows, of course. So we’ve compiled a list of books that are based on mothers and love and the like! What will you be reading this Mother’s Day?

It was a challenge to write this review. And that’s not because the book is bad! On the contrary, the book was so wonderful I was doing my best not to get up and scavenge the kitchen for food! Cheryl, Isabel and Mori have done a truly brilliant job in putting this book together in such a way that respects representations in the book. Food, culture and location come to life on the page and bring joy to your library in a book that’s perfect for almost every kid (and adult)!

Non-fiction is great. Books that can last for a whole year are also great. This series simply combines the two! Every book makes every solar term a delight to discover. It helps children engage with the world they live in by asking them to make observations about seasonal changes and incorporates that with festivals and celebrations, customs and culture. Its format and content mean even adults (including me!) can enjoy, too. Just be mindful when around babies and toddlers!
