An Introduction to Bitty Bao
Just two California moms 👩🏻💻💁🏻♀️ creating bitty bilingual books 📚 for bitty babes in the wee hours of the night! 🌙

Lacey Benard and Lulu Cheng are the lovely ladies behind the Bitty Bao books! Both are teachers-turned-business-owners with a passion for creating educational books for young children! As teachers, they were so used to creating their own learning materials for their students. As parents, they both wanted to support their children in Chinese language acquisition. But, they were often relying on their own resources and efforts to do so — Chinese-English bilingual resources were scarce!
One fateful night, Lulu made a rather outlandish proposition: let’s write our own bilingual books for children! And that’s how the Bitty Bao story began. Lacey and Lulu lovingly write, illustrate and design each book themselves. From humble beginnings, they’ve been helping families around the world raise confident bilingual readers one bitty book at a time!
