About Lele and Monkey
Lele And Monkey is an independent publisher from the wonderful Tiffany Kwan! After moving to Hong Kong, she loved the relatively easy transition for English-speaking expats living there. She found herself embracing the Cantonese language as well as wanting to learn Mandarin, too. She thought she’d make that crucial first step when she had her first child but always found it difficult to find books that she could relate with and were useful for non-native speakers. There were some definite challenges along the way!
But now, Tiffany is a published author - with her own book and her own story and her own publishing company! In her own words: “I created Lele and Monkey to share our Chinese learning journey with others but also showcase the beauty of living and growing up in HK. One day we will probably move away and it would be wonderful to have this memory of Hong Kong with us as well.” We hope you’ll find joy in her shared memories and experiences.
